15 x 30" fluorescent oil painting with dimensional mixed-media accents and glow-in-the-dark details. Cutouts in canvas create another level of dimensional interest. I mix all paints myself from high quality fluorescent powder pigments. All 3-Dimensional details are crafted with durability and longevity in mind and are not fragile or at risk of breaking easily.
The inspiration for this piece was the challenge to create a piece with the most amount of negative space cut out of the canvas than any piece I had ever done before. Additionally, I proposed to contrast this idea with the the opposing idea to design any positive space left to be the most sculptural and 3-Dimensional of any piece I had ever created.
